Youth Academy Programs

Offering an alternative path for kids who may not be involved in sports, helping them discover hidden talents. For athletes, our programs offer the chance to develop new skills during their off-season, making it a great opportunity for all students. Materials, Kits and/or equipment included in price. Upon completing our programs and workshops, youth will receive certificates, giving them a head start as they transition into adulthood. These certifications provide valuable skills that will benefit them throughout high school and even into college. Our graduation ceremonies celebrate their achievements. You can even mix and match programs and workshops and register in multiple programs, workshops and clubs at once. Most classes, clubs and workshops are 1-2 hours long and can be between 1 - 3 months. Entrepreneur Program

Students learn the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, including how to identify business opportunities, develop business plans, and manage finances. They explore concepts like marketing, product development, and customer service, as well as the importance of leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving. Students gain hands-on experience through projects, presentations, and group work, helping them build confidence and practical skills that will prepare them for future business endeavors.Classes are held twice a week for an hour over the course of eight weeks and include all necessary materials. Program also includes Youth flea market that family & friends may come support. Upon completion, students receive a certificate and are honored at a graduation ceremony. The curriculum is designed to match the age group, providing age-appropriate learning and skills development.

Fashion Design/Sewing

The program fosters creativity, technical ability, and design thinking, giving students hands-on experience as they create their own fashion pieces from concept to finished product. Tailored to each age group, students learn essential skills such as fabric selection, pattern design, hand and machine sewing, and garment construction. Classes are held twice a week for 1.5 hours for six weeks, the program provides all necessary materials and culminates in a certificate and graduation ceremony. This program also includes friendly competition and a fashion show where family and friends can support the cool stuff being designed. Program also includes youth flea market where family and friends can come purchase designs.

Junior General Contracting

This hands-on program equips students with real-world skills in home improvement, fostering confidence and problem-solving abilities. Tailored to each age group, students learn a variety of practical skills including mounting shelves, hanging pictures and fixtures, painting walls, basic plumbing repairs, and small building projects. They will also learn how to patch walls and repair minor damages. Held twice a week for 2 hours over eight weeks, the program provides all necessary materials and concludes with a certificate and graduation ceremony.

Finance Program

The curriculum covers key topics such as credit basics, personal savings, budgeting, and financial responsibility. All learning materials are included, and students will participate in interactive activities to reinforce their understanding. At the end of the program, each participant will receive a certificate of completion, with a graduation ceremony to celebrate their achievements. This program empowers youth with the financial knowledge and tools they need for a successful future.

Graphic Design

Comprehensive graphic design program for tailored to each age group. Students learn the basics of graphic design, including color theory, typography, digital illustration, and layout design. They will also create custom t-shirts, learn to use a heat press, and design personalized items, gaining practical skills for making money through creative projects. Classes are held twice a week for 1 hour for four weeks, with materials provided, and include a certificate and graduation ceremony upon completion.

Healthcare Workshop

Designed to match each age group, the workshop teaches essential healthcare skills, including CPR, basic first aid, wound care, and how to respond to common injuries or emergencies. Students will gain practical knowledge and confidence in providing immediate care in various situations, empowering them with valuable life-saving skills. The program runs for 1 hour a day for 5 days, with all materials provided, and concludes with a certificate and graduation ceremony.

Etiquette Workshop
(For males & females)

This class covers essential social and business etiquette skills, such as how to properly set a table, how to communicate effectively, and how to conduct oneself in both business and public settings. Students will also learn dining etiquette, the appropriate attire for various social and business events, how to greet people, and how to select clothing suitable for their body type. This 8-day workshop consists of 1-hour sessions, providing all necessary materials and culminating in a certificate and graduation ceremony. This Workshop also includes an etiquette dinner for students and an etiquette night to invite parents out to interact with students and see what they have learned.

Hairstyling/Braiding Workshop

Participants will learn a variety of hairstyling techniques, including braiding, creating ponytails, straightening methods, basics of hair coloring, and protective styles. This workshop encourages creativity and confidence in hairstyling for all participants. 1-hour classes for 7 days designed to fit each age group. Upon completing the workshop, students will receive a certificate of achievement, and a graduation ceremony will be held to celebrate their new skills

Photography

This program fosters a passion for photography while helping youth express themselves through the lens. Participants will learn the basics of photography, including taking self-portraits, capturing photos of others, and shooting products, items, and everyday objects. They will explore various techniques for composition, lighting, and angles to enhance their photography skills. Program is a 1 hour a day for twice a week for 3 weeks. All materials, and other necessary equipment, will be provided for hands-on learning. At the end of the program, students will receive a certificate of completion, and a graduation ceremony will celebrate their creative achievements.

Art/Drawing Program

This program fosters creativity and helps youth express themselves through art. Focusing on a variety of artistic techniques and mediums. Participants will explore drawing with charcoal and pencil, creating collages, and working with paint to develop their creative skills. All art kits and materials are provided, allowing students to fully engage in hands-on projects. Classes will be held twice a week for 1.5 hours, focusing on a variety of artistic techniques and mediums. Tailored to age group, at the end of the program, students will receive a certificate of completion, and a graduation ceremony will celebrate their artistic growth.

Book Writing Program

Participants will explore different forms of writing, including biographies, comics, fiction, and more, allowing them to become the author of their own creative work. The program encourages students to choose the genre that best expresses their ideas, while teaching them the fundamentals of storytelling, character development, and structure. This program inspires creativity, self-expression, and the confidence to share their stories. All materials are provided to support the writing process, from brainstorming to final drafts. Upon completion, students will receive a certificate of achievement, and a graduation ceremony will celebrate their accomplishments as young authors. Program is a 4-week course for 1.5-hour sessions twice a week with lessons tailored to each age group.

Teams/Clubs

Clubs/Teams are seasonal (spring, summer, or fall) tailored to each age group for 1 hour twice a week for the season.

Spelling Club. Participants will dive into the fundamentals of spelling, learning word origins, phonetics, and memorization techniques to improve their spelling accuracy. Through engaging activities and practice sessions, students will enhance their vocabulary and language skills. The club will also prepare participants for spelling competitions, where they can showcase their progress and compete in a fun, supportive environment. This program builds confidence, focus, and a love for words in young spellers.

Chess Club. Participants will learn the fundamentals of chess, including opening strategies, mid-game tactics, and endgame techniques, along with critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Students will have the opportunity to practice regularly and engage in friendly matches to sharpen their skills.
The club will also prepare students to compete in chess competitions, giving them a chance to apply their knowledge in a competitive setting.

Debate Team. Participants will learn the fundamentals of debate, including argument structure, critical thinking, public speaking, and persuasive techniques. They will also gain experience in research and rebuttal strategies, preparing them to compete in friendly debate competitions. Students will have the opportunity to engage in both practice debates and official competitions. This program develops confidence, leadership, and effective communication skills in young debaters.
